Police recently searched an apartment in Athens in connection with a Fulton County armed robbery.
On the night of March 6 local police were made aware of an armed robbery that occurred in Alpharetta, and that the suspect fled the scene in an SUV registered to a 28-year-old man who lived at an apartment on Macon Highway.
The suspect was not located and the scene was turned over to detectives from the Alpharetta Police Department. The suspect’s SUV was towed as evidence in a robbery investigation.
The suspect has an Athens felony drug case pending in Clarke County Superior Court.
Update
The suspect, Ashton Blaine Peek, has surrendered himself to authorities at the Clarke County Jail.
