An Athens woman reported to police that a young relative recently threw her wallet from a moving car in a fit of anger.
She said that her 7-year-old great-great grand niece tossed the wallet out of the window upon being told she wasn’t going to McDonald’s for a Happy Meal.
The incident happened on December 26, but the woman didn’t indicate where they were driving at the time.
She managed to recover credit cards and other items, but not her drivers license, so she filed a police report in case someone found and tried using it for illegal purposes.
