A Hall County man has been indicted for an alleged sexual assault of a University of Georgia student two years ago.

James Gregory Ervin, 20, of Flowery Branch, was charged with aggravated sexual battery, criminal attempt to commit rape, sexual battery and sodomy, according to the indictment filed Thursday in Clarke County Superior Court.

It is alleged in the indictment that the assault occurred on March 19, 2023 at UGA’s Creswell Hall on Baxter Street.

Following an investigation by the University of Georgia Police Department, Ervin was arrested on warrants on Nov. 6, 2023.

A judge set bail at $50,000 the following week, and Ervin was released upon posting bonds.

He is scheduled to be arraigned on April 7.

Throw his ass under the jail. Even if he grew up in poverty he should know better because of white privilege.

Your continued use of poverty in these articles just shows how ignorant you are. Clearly you are just a troll that likes to get reactions from people. This must be the highlight of your day. Do you have family? Go outside and enjoy your last days. There's more to life than just trolling a local news comment section, just waiting to show your distain for those you know nothing about. But with a name like smithbob i wouldn't expect anything less.
