Entries sought for first-ever Sandy Creek car show

The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department is accepting applications for the inaugural Sandy Creek BBQ, Blues, & Cruise-In.  This event is scheduled for Sunday, October 13 from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Sandy Creek Park.

Interested classic, art, and unique car enthusiasts are encouraged to apply for entry to the car cruise-in.

The online entry application is now available. The car show entry application is $15 per vehicle.  The deadline for entries is Monday, October 7 at noon.  Late applications will not be accepted.

Entries will compete for trophies in a variety of categories including “Best in Show,” “Best Interior,” “Most Unique,” and others.
