The house small single-story dwelling was already 75-percent engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived, according to the ACCFESD.
The lone resident, Patti Thorne, got out on her own uninjured after being alerted to danger by smoke alarms. She reportedly was transported to the hospital for observation due to smoke inhalation and potential carbon monoxide exposure.
