It’s time to restock your bookshelves at the Friends of Athens-Clarke County
Library’s annual Fall Book Sale.
The Friends will host their sale on Sept. 27 through Sept. 30, in the Athens-Clarke County Library’s multipurpose rooms. The sale will feature more than 20,000 gently used books, including fiction, non-fiction, children’s books, hardbacks, paperbacks, audio books, CDs and more.
The sale will begin with a Friends-only preview sale from 2-7 p.m. Sept. 27.
Shoppers can purchase a Friends membership at the door for $25 to get first pick at the
sale.
The sale will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 28; 10 a.m.
to 5 p.m. Sept. 29, and Saturday, September 30, which is Bag Day, when
shoppers can fill a grocery bag provided by the Friends for just $10.
All proceeds from the Book Sale benefit the Athens-Clarke County Library. For more
