A Clarke County grand jury has returned an indictment in connection with a series of break-ins of commercial storage units.
Kevin Moon, 31, of Westwood Drive, was charged with multiple counts of burglary and theft, according to the indictment filed in Superior Court on March 25.
He had been arrested in January for a probation violation in January, and the following month detectives with the Athens-Clarke County police Property Crimes Unit executed search warrants at Moon’s residence and a storage unit on Old Jefferson Road.
The searches, along with the recovery of a stolen Land Rover, resulted in the retrieval of numerous items related to more than 30 storage unit burglaries countywide.
Moon remains in pretrial detention and is scheduled to be arraigned on April 15.
Crosshairs tatted on his forehead would look appropriate.
