Kathy's Fur Babies: Shy

In partnership with Athens-Clarke County Animal Services, Classic City News regularly publishes profiles of cats and dogs waiting to be adopted at the county animal shelter. The information is provided by shelter volunteer Kathy Peters:

Like her name suggests, Shy was, well, shy in the shelter setting. She blustered a bit to hide her fear, but a foster saw through it and took Shy home. In her foster home, Shy has flourished! She is politely friendly with people and great with the 4 other dogs in her home. If you're looking for a striking looking 4-legged friend (it's hard to see in these photos, but Shy is a red merle color) who would do great as a sidekick for another dog.
