Jose Carmen Aguilar-Rodriguez, 48, was accused of sexually assaulting children in two separate indictments returned this week by a Clarke County grand jury.
The crimes occurred at the Pinewood Estates North mobile home park where the defendant lived, according to the indictments that were filed Tuesday in Superior Court.
One indictment alleges that the defendant in 2022 entered a child’s bedroom over a dozen times offering her money to touch her sexually.
The indictment charges him with enticing a child for indecent purposes and criminal attempt to commit child molestation.
The charges are filed under the state Family Violence Act because Aguilar-Rodriguez and the victim lived in the same household.
The other indictment alleges that he enticed the victim from her home and touched her sexually.
It charges Aguilar-Rodriguez with child molestation, criminal attempt to commit a felony, enticing a child for indecent purposes, and possession of methamphetamine.
He is being detained without bail at the Clarke County Jail, where immigration officials have lodged a hold on his release.
Aguilar-Rodriguez is scheduled to be arraigned on December 3.
I’m glad there’s a hold. They can’t deport him fast enough!!
