Man kills wife in Jackson County murder-suicide

A man murdered his wife and then killed himself in Jackson County on Thursday, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

The Arcade Police Department responded to a home on Azalea Drive in Arcade after receiving a call about a domestic dispute, the GBI said, and when officers got there they found Alison Markee, 56, and Thomas Markee, 60, both dead from gunshot wounds inside the residence.

The GBI said that Thomas killed his wife before committing suicide.
