Four pedestrians reportedly struck by car in downtown Athens crosswalk

Four people were reported to have been struck by a car in downtown Athens Friday night,
The police department has not responded yet to requests for information about the incident.
However, according to unconfirmed sources the pedestrians were in a well-lit crosswalk outside the Live Wire event venue at the corner of North Hull and Dougherty streets.
It happened between 10:30 and 11 p.m.
Two of the pedestrians were said to have been taken to hospital.
