The city of Winder tonight is hosting a memorial for the victims of Wednesday’s horrific mass shooting that killed four students and teachers and injured nine others at Apalachee High School.
Among the officials attending the event at Jug Tavern Park are Barrow County Schools Superintendent Dallas LeDuff, Winder Mayor Jimmy Terrell, Barrow County Sheriff Jud Smith, U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock, and U.S. Rep. Mike Collins.
Terrell estimated that more than 1,000 people were are in attendance.
