Motorist killed when car collides with tractor trailer in Oconee County

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a fatal collision between a car and tractor trailer in Oconee County.

The accident occurred at about 7a.m. Friday on U.S. Highway 441 at White Oak Drive in Watkinsville.

The driver of the car reportedly died at the scene, and the trucker was transported to the hospital.

Their identities were not immediately released.
