Pair indicted for Athens drive-by shooting

A Clarke County grand jury has indicted two defendants for a drive-by shooting last month that targeted occupants of an apartment on Old Hull Road.
Xzavier Keiore Johnson, 18, and Amaru Makariou Watkins, 21, were each charged with three counts of aggravated assault - one count for each person who was inside the targeted home at Northside Apartments on January 25.
Watkins was additionally charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to the indictment filed in Superior Court on February 18.
