Sparrow’s Nest ministry building damaged by man who sought $100 million

By Joe Johnson

A man showed up at the Sparrow’s Nest ministry on Prince Avenue last Friday saying that he’d been sent by the mayor to collect $100 million.

He returned early the following morning and broke the building’s front door and several windows.

He is seen in surveillance footage repeatedly throwing a brick at the front door until it finally punched a hole through it.

He then gathered rocks at Dunkin Donuts parking lot next door and smashed window with them.

In addition to the broken glass, the rocks damaged a wall inside and floor tiling.

The suspect was described as a black male in his early 20’s who wore all black clothing and sported a big necklace with fake diamonds and a pendant.
