A teenager was recently arrested after he allegedly
threatened someone with a gun after losing a video game bet.
The incident happened the evening of April 14 at the Hallmark Estates home of 19-year-old Tyrik Robinson where he and two others were playing a video game.
According to a police report, Robinson made a bet on the outcome of a game with one of his visitors, a 24-year-old man from Monroe.
When Robinson lost the bet, he refused to pay the man and an argument ensued. He allegedly left the room and returned with a gun that he cocked and pointed at the man and said, “Now what was you saying?”
The man then left the home and called police.
Robinson was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
He was taken to the county jail where the Winder Police Department placed a hold on his release for a probation violation in their jurisdiction.
