A 3-year-old boy was killed Friday in a shooting Friday at an eastside trailer park in which his 9-year-old brother and an adult male were injured.
Kyron Zarco and his brother reportedly were sitting on a couch in their home at Hallmark Estates at about 5:30 p.m, when someone shot a gun into the residence.
Kyron was fatally shot and his brother and two adult were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.
"My son is crying real bad about his friend. His friend's little brother didn’t make it. I’m trying to comfort him and it’s so hard,"a family friend said. "All I can do right now is cry with my child. He is so hurt and he keeps asking me to take him to the hospital to see his friend. I don't know if I should or not."
Police did not say if they had developed a possible motive for the shooting, nor whether any suspects had been identified,

I pray for this young child. And I pray for the family and their friends. If there is a Hell, and I fear there is, the list of future residents from Athens, GA is too damn long. Where is the humanity?
I hope the killer is caught and fully punished.
I hope the witnesses- this happened in Daylight- saw something.
