Another Georgia football player was arrested for speeding and reckless driving on Thursday night.
The Athens-Clarke County Police Department said 19-year-old Daniel Jeremy Harris was driving on the Athens Perimeter when he was pulled over near College Station Road at about 8 p.m.
His 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee was clocked traveling 106 miles per hour while passing other vehicles, according to a police report, which noted wet road conditions due to rain.
Harris was driving with an expired tag and was not wearing a seatbelt, police said.
He was charged with reckless driving, not wearing a seatbelt, driving an unregistered vehicle, no proof of insurance, and a window tint violation .
He was released from custody upon posting a $50 cash bond.
He’s a true Georgia Bulldog. The coach should throw him off the team immediately. He’s really the only one in town that can issue swift punishment. 🤷🏻♀️
Another report said the officer estimated he was going 106; not actually clocked….
