A Walton County man has been arrested for a fatal two-vehicle collision that occurred in Athens five months ago.

According to the Athens-Clarke County Sheriff’s Office, 21-year-old Sean Steven Brown of South Madison Avenue in Monroe was taken into custody Sunday on warrants charging him with first-degree homicide by vehicle, DUI, and reckless driving.

He is accused by county police with causing a collision on Aug. 28, in which he critically injured 67-year-old Athens resident Robert Thomas “Tommy” Stephens, who was driving a 2005 Buick LeSabre and began to turn left onto Timothy Road from Epps Bridge Parkway.

As the Buick was turning, it was struck by a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck being driven by Brown, police said.

Stephens succumbed to his injuries at the hospital on Sept. 10, according to police.

As of Monday morning, Brown was being detained at the county jail.

A very well thought out, intelligent and convincing defense of your position. Clearly you have used logic and reason to demonstrate the flaws in my argument...

I don't, it has nothing to do with that POS. Why don't you comment about the murderer who ran over the UGA student and fled? We know why, quack, quack little ducky.
