An Athens woman was arrested last week after she threw cans of Red Bull at a former coworker who she accused of getting her fired,
Kiosha Lavone Knox, 27, of Martin Circle was charged with disorderly conduct, simple battery, and criminal damage to property.
The incident happened on January 3rd at the RaceTrac on U.S, Highway 29 North, where Knox returned with another woman after and challenged an employee to fight for having gotten her fired earlier in the day.
When the employee retreated to the rear of the store and was calling 911 Knox and her companion grabbed cans of Red Bull from a display and threw them at the employee as hard as they could.
One of the projectiles struck the 31-year-old woman in the leg, and she told the police that If she hadn’t ducked for one of the projectiles “It would have knocked my head off.”
Knox was arrested after officers saw what she had done by viewing surveillance footage.
She was charged with disorderly conduct, simple battery, and criminal damage to property.
